Confident in communication!
Two November days were devoted to “Effective Communication”. The training was conducted within the Marketing and Sale School on November 24, 25 in Moscow. The participants learnt active listening techniques, ways to overcome communication barriers, gained other useful information.
– I would like to thank our teacher Anna Shevtsova! – says Alvina Rogova, transportation development manager, VDM. – It was very professional and emphatic. I really liked the test which helped us relax and express our emotions. The important thing is that after the training we kept on using the “tricks” gained there. I also remember the “manipulation” part of the training. We learnt to identify different forms of manipulative behavior and ways to deal with it.
– I mostly remember the biostructural analysis, – adds Igor Piskarev, sales manager, Volga-Dnepr Airlines. – I hope this knowledge will help me communicate with customers more efficiently. Indeed, the subject of the training was very interesting as well the way it was delivered.
– First of all, I would like to mention Western approach to psychology and successful interaction with colleagues and partners – a considerable amount of time is devoted to these subjects at universities, – notices Vassily Zhukov, business development manager, VDM. – For example, the communication issue was touched upon during different courses when I was doing my Master’s degree in France six years ago. So, I have some experience working in socio-cultural environment. Nevertheless, these two days of training were very productive – I hadn’t been familiar with some methods presented here. The informal atmosphere made it possible for us to see, understand and explain our behavior in different situations. And I think it will contribute much to our efficiency at work. I would like to thank Anna Shevtsova for very informative training content and the ability to spark our interest.
– The training met my expectations. And would like to thank our teacher for her professionalism and the ability to keep the group involved, – says Julia Derbina, VDM analyst. – The information presented was not new and we seem to have used it intuitively. But now everything fell into place. Besides we managed to see our colleagues differently, and I think it will help us at work.
– The training let me break from the daily work routine and take a fresh look at myself and my relationships with colleagues and customers, – comments Denis Bushmanov, sales manager, Volga-Dnepr Airlines. – Now I clearly see what to work on. I will definitely use the methods to deal with “manipulators’. What appealed to me most is the trainer’s manner of keeping level with us never showing her professional superiority. This helped us relax when doing practical part.
– There were a lot of examples on how to implement different methods to prevent professional burnout, – adds Diana Gudko, personal assistant, VDTM. – My take-home message was some new stress-resilience techniques.
– The training was very interesting and effective, – says Anna Loginova, exhibition organizer, VDM. – I mostly remember the biostructural analysis, presentation skills, manipulation response skills. I will definitely polish my public presentation skills at work.
