Our aircraft deliver satellites as well!

It is autumn. The air is getting cool and children go to school… Some children started a new academic year not only at school, but also in the company of the participants of Corporate University’s unique project – “Entertaining Management for Kids and Adults”. Since 2016, the project has got Volga-Dnepr employees’ children acquainted with the factors of success of an international company and created the understanding of such values as Work, Health, Safety, Development, Family and Honesty.

This year training sessions for the participants from Moscow will focus on various cargo types transported by Volga-Dnepr. The first training session was held in Moscow on September, 29th. Both children and adults dream of visiting the place the participants spent a day at – Gagarin Research & Test Cosmonaut Training Center, Zvezdny Gorodok.

The children were met in the hall of the Mir space station by Sergey Volkov, the first cosmonaut of the second generation in the world.

How do cosmonauts clean their teeth in space? How do they do physical exercises? Is it true that general cleaning is carried out on space ships as well? Have cosmonauts ever met aliens?

Sergey Volkov answered these and other various questions asked by the children with great pleasure.

Vladimir Vyshemirsky, Load Planning Engineer, Volga-Dnepr Airlines told the children about unique deliveries of satellites and planes onboard our aircraft.

The children were amused to learn that our company delivered satellites as well.

Then the children explored the Mir space station.

They saw how cosmonauts lived, where they slept, ate and how they did physical exercises.

It is no surprise that after the exciting tour everybody wanted to taste space food. Not only did the children have lunch at the cafeteria for cosmonauts, but also were given tubes with space food as souvenirs.
