Dreams come true!
The participants of the project “Entertaining management” met the company president in Istochnik School on April 19.
Meeting the company president was the dream the children spoke about at the first seminar of the project “Entertaining management for kids and adults” in March. So, the meeting was organized on April 19. Alexey Isaykin changed his tight schedule to spend a day in Ulyanovsk and meet the project participants.
The meeting started with the video survey where the children were trying to figure out “What’s it like to be the company president?” (download the video into Russian) and the video riddle ‘What is labour?” (download the video into Russian). The riddle was not a problem for the president, and in reply he addressed the participants with two other tasks: the team of the company executives in cooperation with the children had to arrange the transportation of delicious Austrian cakes to Ulyanovsk; and the team of children with the help of the company executives had to build their own labour organization and present it.
In the meeting the president touched upon some very important things: labour, benefit, life mission, family, development.
– Global organizations as well as each of us should understand how important it is to let the work we do become labour, – explained Alexey Isaykin. – In order to deliver all the promised “cakes” in time. If you learn to do this magic each of you will be successful.
The kids turned out to be very careful listeners, and then asked precise and serious questions. The author of the most interesting and complicated question Vsevolod Akhmadullin was rewarded by the president with the memorable gift – An-124-100 aircraft model. His question was about three important things to do in life.
The meeting with the president impressed the children:
Kristina Nezhneva, aged 11
– I liked the meeting very much. I got the answers to the questions which I’d been interested in for a long time: how they got the idea to set up such a company and what difficulties they had to face. I’d like to have another meeting with the president, … and to try those Austrian cakes.
Sergey Rodionov, aged 13
– At the beginning I was very nervous. You don’t meet directors every day. But it was very interesting. I remember the story about Olya and the cakes. I now understand how work becomes labour. I would like to connect my future with the company. I‘m now thinking about which profession to choose.
Alexander Blintsov, aged 14
– The meeting left a lot of positive impressions. The president is a very good and kind person. I am not very kin on learning. But he said that we had to learn all our lives. So, I made up my mind to devote more time to studies. I would like to work in Volga-Dnepr. This company helps people.
Vsevolod Akhmadullin, aged 13
– It was an inspiring meeting, I’d say. There were a lot of valuable ideas, encouraging words. I left with the feeling that I’d hit jackpot – except new knowledge I got presents and was photographed with the president.
This wonderful meeting was arranged by the Corporate University – the initiator of the project “Entertaining management for kids and adults”. For 16 months talented children of the company employees and pupils of Istochnik School will be having seminars with the company leading specialists to find new ways of development through the creative alliance of youth and maturity.
