Best students of the Project Management School in Ulyanovsk

Best students of one of the VD corporate university professional schools – the Project Management School – have been granted the training in PM Expert.

Integrated training for project candidates pool was conducted within the Project Management School in 2015. More than 60 people applied for the program “The project administrator class”.  The course comprised 10 theoretical and 6 practical classes plus a bonus class on charter sales.
The ceremony on summarizing the School work results was held both in Moscow and Ulyanovsk.

– I’m sure that everybody who completed the training course is ready to participate in real projects, to provide benefit for our internal and external customers, – noticed Ksenia Smirnova, the school leader, the project management director. –  The company didn’t use to have a project administrator candidates pool, although this position has always been in-demand. The training course helped to compensate for this shortage.

Three students who scored the most points were granted the opportunity to do the training in PM Expert:
1 place – Alexander Chirkov, the group leader on aviation accident prevention system support, Volga-Dnepr Airlines;
2 place – Julia Gordeeva, the head of the compensation and benefits department. VDM;
3 place – Ekaterina Zarayskaya, the leading specialist on procurement planning, Volga-Dnepr Airlines.

Then, 17 students who succeeded in training were certified by the Project Management department.

The results of the contest on The Project Management Best Business Case were summed up during the ceremony. There were 7 business cases developed, but the PM director special prize went to the IT project team.

– I’m thankful to the course organizers. It was indeed very interesting and useful, – shared Alexander Chirkov. – I’m sure I will apply this knowledge in the company projects.

The 2016 promises to be really busy: e-learning is planned on different project management subject areas, both in Russian and in English. The project management fundamentals course is planned for the company foreign employees.
