Beneficial knowledge!

"Knowledge shall be beneficial"

“Knowledge shall be beneficial”

The 2015 VD Corporate University academic year proved to be very intensive and eventful – with ongoing programs in all 18 professional schools, specific training, distance learning programs, etc. On December 25 the company president Alexey Isaykin greeted the best students. He expressed appreciation for their vibrant participation, effort and willingness to gain knowledge, for their professional development and the way they inspired other students.

– Knowledge for the sake of knowledge is pointless, – notices A.Isaykin. – Knowledge shall be beneficial for customers currently or potentially to help problem solving, to provide opportunities.

The president underlined that knowledge shall always be in use to check how well it works in practice. He also spoke about “The Evolution of labour – from consumption to cognition” and answered the participants’ burning questions.

– I’m grateful for this event, – shared Anna Khusnutdinova, the procurement organization specialist, VDM. –  It’s really important when the business owner himself speaks to the company personnel about the changes (the Employment Contract format change), explains the issue background, the reasoning and logic of the changes, vividly illustrates his speech. This is what can be called efficient feedback and interaction with customers – without misinterpretation and from the original source, something we always aim at. The meeting was conducted in the relaxed and friendly atmosphere! I’m thankful to the president for the interesting and motivating conversation!

– Unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to communicate with the president very often, – says Pavel Kusnetsov, the leading sales development manager, Volga-Dnepr Airlines. – I have always wanted to watch the way he thinks, evaluates situations inside the company and out, to understand his values. I am very positively charged after the meeting and happy that the company top management realizes the importance of the personnel development and invests much time and resources in it. People capable of personal development are usually quite critical of themselves – it was interesting to watch the president showing this feature. It’s also great to know that that company relies on us, although it’s a huge responsibility.
