Conquering the sky
On March 19th two of our young pilots, graduates from Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation 2017, Krylov Alexey and Grishin Nikita were awarded B-747 civil pilot’s licenses by General Director Sergey Lazarev.
To achieve Company long term strategic goals in 2017 it was decided to implement a former cadets professional preparation program for the legendary civil aircraft Boeing-747.
19 candidates were shortlisted into 2017-2018 program taking start in Aviation Training Centre of Volga-Dnepr Group followed by simulation training in FSC, Amsterdam.
Highly qualified professionals and experts from AirBridgeCargo Flight Operations Department led by Roman Tavitov, Deputy Flight Director and Alexander Maksimov, Head of Special Pilot Division work on development and implementation of the program.
Attraction of young flight personnel with their undoubted potential and professional flight resource opens great possibility for the growing of company.
Awarding of first two licenses is just the beginning of ABC young pilot school but it is our strong belief that in a 6-7-year period we will be awarding our present-day young pilots with captain shoulder straps.
