Getting along with time
“Time won’t stand beating. […] if you only kept on good terms with him, he’d do almost anything you liked with the clock,”– said the Hatter to Alice from a famous novel by Lewis Carroll. The participants of our Entertaining Management project do not try to beat time. On the contrary, they learnt how to manage time on a recent training session held in Ulyanovsk.
How can you manage the most expensive and non-renewable resource that slips through your fingers? You do not study it at school. And experienced professionals themselves complain of lack of time now and then.
The Corporate University team came to the rescue, presenting numerous tools.
Another topic was professions of the future. Once, coachmen were replaced by drivers, and blacksmiths – by mechanics. And in 2025 – when most participants graduate from universities, there will be demand for certified 3D-world creators, roboethics specialists, cyber researchers and even anti-aging experts.
The “Entertaining Management 2.0” project is aimed at teaching kids project management, and now it has reached its halfway and most responsible point. The participants were divided into groups, came up with project concepts, determined their team roles and allocated objectives.
Their goal is surely set in compliance with the SMART model – it is specific, measurable and time-bound. It is common for all the children as well – they need to develop a creative project to present our Company in the largest international airshow in Farnborough, UK this summer.
We will follow the children’s progress. Keep updated on news!
